Cedarbrae Real Estate – Homes & Condos For Sale

Sitting on the eastern edge of the Tsuu Tina First Nation, Cedarbrae is on the south western edge of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It’s bordered on the north by Southland Drive, on the south by Anderson Road and has 24th St. W framing the east. The neighbourhood has a rural feel and a number of pocket-parks within the boundaries. The Sarcee Seven Chiefs Sportsplex, hosting junior hockey games, is just outside Cedarbrae on First Nations’ land.

The area was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1956, but development of Cedarbrae didn’t begin until 1973.  Most properties are of the single-family variety, with some ten percent being low-rise apartments or condos. More than 77 percent of the housing is owner occupied.

Schools in the area include Calgary Public School’s Cedarbrae Elementary and the Catholic St. Cyril Elementary and Junior High. The Community Christian Pre-school is in the centre of the community on Cedarbrae Drive. North of Southland Drive is the Oakridge Co-op, the closest shopping centre. Canyon Meadows Golf Club is to the southeast.
