Haysboro Real Estate – Homes & Condos For Sale

The residential neighbourhood of Haysboro sits in the south-western corner of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The City of Calgary annexed the land in 1956. Two years later development started in Haysboro. Today the neighbourhood is made up of a mixture of single family homes, low rise condominiums and apartments. Some 33 percent of available housing is found in the latter two categories. More than 75 percent of homes are owner occupied.

The eastern border is the Macleod Trail SE, the north Heritage Dr SW, and to the west is 14th St SW. Southland Dr SW brings up the southern edge, with a slight tilt to the north. A number of shopping centres are nearby, including Southcentre Mall to the south via the Macleod Trail SE, and the closer but smaller Southland Crossing.

Schools are equally plentiful, and include the Haysboro Elementary, Eugene Coste Elementary, and Woodman Junior, all operated by the Calgary Public School System. St. Gerald Bilingual Elementary and Bishop Grandin High, both Catholic, are also available.

Heritage Park, a popular local recreation center, is just to the west of 14th St. SW. Jogging trails, the educational and entertaining Heritage Park Historical Village and paddlewheel cruises on the Glenmore Reservoir are within walking distance of much of the neighbourhood.
