The Kelvin Grove neighbourhood in the south-western end of Calgary, Alberta, Canada was founded in 1960. Though the area started out with mostly single family properties, over time apartments and condominiums were added, now making up almost 54 percent of the available housing. Roughly 42 percent of homes are rentals.

It has excellent access to the city’s major roadways including the Glenmore Trail SW, or Route 8, that makes up the northern edge. Elbow Dr SW brings up the eastern edge, 14th St SW forms the western edge and 75th Ave SW curves around the southern border. Kelvin Grove Park takes up much of that curve.

Schools serving the neighbourhood include the Chinook Park Bilingual Elementary and the Henry Wise Wood Senior High, both part of the Calgary Public School System. The Catholic St. Augustine Elementary Junior High and a Montessori School are also nearby.

 Rockyview General Hospital is just outside the western border. South of the hospital is the Heritage Park Historical Village and the Glenmore Reservoir. Heritage Park has a number of jogging trails along the shoreline. The closest mall is Chinook Centre, north of the Glenmore Trail SW. The Calgary Golf and Country Club is due north.
